Meet Sharika

I am Sharika Kellogg, the choice mom to 4 little boys whom I adopted.  Foster mom to several little humans who need a safe place to call home for just a little while.  Entrepreneur,  mindset, and business strategist, and romance novel lover. Here is how I became The 25/8 MOM.

I turned in my notice on January 3, 2017, and started the next chapter of my life.  I left my job to be more present as a parent. At the time, I was a single mom of two little boys under the age of 1. So yes, both in diapers – oye.

Because I was working more than I was with them. They were spending hours in daycare and seeing me when I woke them up for bedtime stories and on weekends. I did not CHOOSE to be a mother and not be there.

I had less than $500 in my bank account when I quit my job. My mortgage was due. My car payment was due, the daycare tuition for the month, car insurance, electric bill, etc. Worst of all, I had one box of diapers left.

I was scared. Launching my own business was a huge risk. Why? Because I could lose more than just my house and car if this went south. I could lose one of my sons because, as a foster parent – you have to show that you have the income to be able to cover your bills, support your family, and then some.

There were some highs and extreme lows, but through true grit and determination, a year later, I had a successful business and 3 sons.

I am sure that there are other moms out there who have been home and may have to go back to work – and don’t want to but need that income to support their families. I want to help you get there.

Starting with just one client, I used the strategies Sharika has taught me over and over again until my business grew into a 6-figure company within 3 years. I am now able to retire my husband from his 9-5 job and actually have a Legacy company for my family to own and run.
